Both the European Studies co-major and minor can be combined with majors in other departments, programs, and schools. Students take advantage of this attractive option by combining their European Studies co-major or minor with Business, a modern European language, History, Philosophy, and Global & International Studies, to name just a few possibilities.
The European Studies Program provides our students with personalized advising, interdisciplinary flexibility, exciting course offerings, opportunities to conduct research, frequent co-curricular activities, and diverse options for studying and completing internships abroad. Studying with KU faculty in the broader disciplines such as social sciences, humanities, the arts, and business enables students to increase their awareness and understanding of Europe’s past, present, and future and its significant role in our increasingly globalized world.
